Photobooth can be so addictive! It's so much fun. The bonus is with this one, that you can take as many until you're pleased with the result. The flamingo's are smiling too.

Love at first sight

I just bought these shoes on Ebay, with money I still had left over from my birthday. I just fell in love with them the moment I layed my eyes on them. Perfect hight, shape.......everything!! Can't wait for them to arrive.

Photobooth!

Today me and my sister Evelien went to lunch. We ate pancakes at a very cozy tearoom!! I couldn't take any photographes because the battery was dead. Instead we took some photobooth pictures when we got home. You can see my new red flower in my hair. It's the perfect shape and size. It immediatly brightens up a simple hairdo.

This is my new red beret. I love it!! It looks so pretty together with my red hair. And it's warm and comfy for the winter. The ceramic pot is part of my gift ,from my favorite niece Dorien, for my birthday. I use it now to store my brooches in. Underneath it is my pretty bedspread, so warm.

Today I went shopping, it was my day off. Instead of listening to customers, I got to be the customer! The fun thing was, it was birthday money :) so in fact I didn't pay any of it. And the best part is, I didn't spend it all, so there's going to be another shopping spree some time next week. I bought a lot of winterskirts, which I really needed because the most of my skirts were a bit to chilly. I also bought 3 cardigans, a red beret, a purse and one of the prettiest wintercoats ever !! I'm going to show you all this stuff, including my pinup cocktailsticks and the things I bought at the flea market 2 weeks ago, on sunday. Then I will have enough time to photograph everything and sit, relax and blog a bit!! Also on sunday, me and my sister Evelien are going to watch "Paranormal Activity" in the cinema. It's going to be spooky!! Until then great weekend everyone!

Pretty new dress (again hihi)

I just bought this beautiful 40s dress on Ebay. It even has a matching vest, so pretty. I also really like the colour, it goes very well with my red hair. The dress itself has a little lace colar, so cute. Now I just have to wait until it arrives. I also bought pin up cocktail sticks this weekend. I will show them as soon as they arrives. I bought about 60 for only €6.

Dinner time

A month or so ago, I went to dinner with my favorite niece Dorien for her birthday. She turned 21 and that's quite a special age! We have been good friends ever since we were little, because of that, I always enjoy myself surrounded by her company. We ate stone grill with french fries and salad which really was very delicious! You can't really see all that much food on the pictures, it's because it was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures in the beginning :). After we ate dessert, vanilla icecream and hot chocolate sauce, oohh boy that was heaven on earth. We really had a good time! It's time to do that again.

Bad days and Dancing days

I got home in kind of a mad mood. I finished work at 6 pm, but wasn't home until 8.30 pm. My train couldn't leave the station Lier, because a stupid tree had fallen on the tracks because of the storm. So there I was, hungry, wet from rain and tired. So you can imagine how I felt. But then when I got home, there it was, a little package for me :). It were the earrings, brooch and haircombs I bought a week or so ago. It really made my day end a whole a lot better! These are some pictures of my saturdaynight from last weekend. I went to some gigs with 2 of my best friends. The gigs weren't all that great, but we really enjoyed ourselves !! There even was some free beer, which is always good. It also was the first night out with the flamingo's, who are healing very well!! Tomorrow more blogs to come. Getting back on track

Last monday I started my job at H&M, because of that and laziness, the lack of posting was bad!! I've been promising some posts that still haven't been made. La tattoo

Here it is !! Yesterday was the big day, tattooday! I'm super super pleased with the result, the tattooist Joachim, did an amazing job. Sorry about the semi-blurred picture :). I really can't stop looking at them :) so pretty! OOhh flamingo's, the perfect animal. As of right now, I'm on cloud 9. In the ribbons the light yellow still has to come through, this will show more during the healing. On to the next!!

Birthday dresses

I just bought 2 pretty dresses on ebay. It's another present from me to myself for my birthday :). Now I have to wait patiently for them to arrive.

Ooohh gonna have myself a new tattoo!!

This thursday, the day has finally arrived!!! It's time for a brand new shiny tattoo. I'm so looking forward to it, it's gonna be amazing. It's going to be placed above my breasts. I'm going to keep it a secret what it's going to be, that you will see on thursday !! My birthday party yesterday was really fun !! The food (which I made) was very delicious if I say it myself. I'll show you pictures some time this week. Tomorrow first day of work :) so exciting!! Thumbs up!

I did it again !

For a while now, I've been luring at pretty earrings on a vintage site, wondering if I should buy them or not. Now yesterday I was looking at them again, noticing that they've added new jewelry. That was the moment that I couldn't resist myself !! They added lot's of pretty new stuff! Seeing that the temptation was too big, I decided that I would buy it as a birthday present for myself, since I'm turning 22 this monday :) wooeehooee. Also at monday on MY BIRTHDAY, I'm beginning my first real job and it's at H&M, which I'm really glad with, because it means I'm going to get discounts on cute lingerie, sweaters and other stuff. The 2 earrings (the blue/white and the flowers) were the things I had been luring at a long time !!! The haircombs were to pretty to pass by. I also bought my previous ones at the same site ! Then last but not least, the beating heart :) it only was 90 cent for a pretty heart brooche !! So tiny and cute. Tomorrow is my birthdayparty for my friends who'm I sat in highschool with. So lot's of pictures to come !!! There's also still coming a post about the things I bought last sunday. But until then enjoy your weekend everybody!!!

It has a really wide circle skirt which is excellent for dancing all night long!! I'm also wearing my bicycle brooch, one of my favourite brooches!!

Just haven't met you yet !

Love is such a strange fenomena ! Why do people love things, other people, animals..... What do we get out of it, what's the purpose. Spending a lifetime with another soul, another heart, another one's feelings. Trying to make one another happy, making them laugh.... Why is it sometimes so hard not to find love, when it seems like everyone around you found love? Why do you miss that one person, that's supposed to give you love, when friends and family say they love you?? What is it about that ONE single person that gives you a warm feeling inside?! But most of all where do you find it?! Is it hidden behind a wall, do you have to dig, maybe jump up and down, make noise, making the other person notice that you are looking for them, just that ONE single person!!

Cherry flavoured !

This was todays outfit. I was wearing one of my favourite brooches !!!! My 50s cherries, they're so pretty and shiny, with the little leaves behind them. It can really make an outfit. The sweater I'm wearing is one of my new sweaters. I actually bought it a month ago but still hadn't worn it. It's perfect with a dress or a skirt, seeing that it sits in the waist! It's really cozy and warm too now, for the fall. The colours of my brooch matched perfectly with my dress --> yellow, orange, red and green, how fall can you be!! You can't see the dress all that clear, but it's one of the dresses I woar in the pictures of part 2 of my holiday in France. Instead of wearing my pink earrings that you've seen a whole lot in pictures lately, I woar my new red ones !!

Flea market fun

On sunday I went to a flea market, in Olen were I live, with Hanne (one of my best friends) and Evelien (my sister). I found a lot of fun stuff and very cheap !! After that we went to Antwerp for another flea market, but didn't find it, but we did find something else and I bought a shirt there. All the things I bought, I will show you some time this week ! The sun shined all day long which made it even mor pleasant (even though the flea markets were indoor) !

I was looking through some old pictures of me and I came across this funny picture. That's from when I tried to do curls but didn't leave the curlers in long enough so the end result kind of failed bad !! But it turned out to be a funny picture :). Yesterday I went to dinner with a friend. Before we went to a few stores, bought a new dress I'm going to wear today ! But the cool thing about yesterday was that next to a shoe store there was free Baileys and at Urban Outfitters there was free drinks and BEN & JERRY'S!!!! I ate a whole jar (a little one) of chocolate fudge brownie. Even though it was raining, it still was delicious !! At dinner we had taco's which was really delicious as well! Tonight I'm going dancing!

Dessous

Some pictures of the book "1000 Dessous" I bought this week. It's such a lovely book, the most amazing pictures ever! The book immediately caught my eye in the store. I allready had a weak spot for TASCHEN books and especially one like this concerning pretty lingerie! The pink thing besides the book is my own négligé. One of many to come !! Underneath the book is my new bedspread in white and salmon pink, it's so cozy! If you're a lingerie lover as well, I really recommend the book!

Buckles and bows

Here are some pictures of outfits I wore this week. One of my new skirts is in the first outfit. It's so soft, I want to touch the skirt all te time. In the second outfit I'm wearing one of my favourite blouses which actually is a dress, but it's too short for my taste, so I wear it as a blouse and at the same time it makes a sort of petticoat. Well isn't that handy !

Tomorrow I'm going to dinner with one of my friends. I hope the food will be yummy !! On saturday I'm going for a drink with my best friends and then with them to a party. Oohh how I feel like dancing so much !! It sure is going to be a blast! I'm sure you're getting sick of seeing those pink earrings but I love them so much I'm almost wearing them every day!

Photobooth!

I went shopping with my friend Sofie today. I made some photobooth pictures of the two of us. I bought a book from Taschen today " 1000 Dessous". It's a History of Lingerie, starting from as early as Cleopatra till the present! It's a really nice book, cool pictures and all !! It only cost me € 10. I love TASCHEN !!

Let's raise a toast!!

These are some other stuff I bought last week, all very inexpensive I might say! I allready had 1 Babycham glass, but I found 8 more, 3 low ones and 5 high ones. Now I only need to find 3 more and I have 2 sets of Babycham glasses. I only paid 50 cents for each glass. The other glass in the picture left has cute red apples on it, I only paid 25 cents for it. Then the 3th item.... at my grandmother's house always were these little metal bicycles, I always wanted them, last week I found one of my own! A little red bicycle, I kind of want it in realistic size! I only paid € 1 for it.

New skirts

On friday I bought myself 2 new skirts. The one I'm wearing in the picture is my favourite one !! It has the right amount of poofyness and the right length!! I just like 'em so much.... I just wanna go out and dance in it. The other skirt has these cute little belts and the side/front of it, it makes the skirt extra special. It's also a perfect fit, like it was made many years ago especially for me!
