Rockin' at the Drive in Barn

Past sunday, I went to Drive In Barn. It's a small, fun rockabilly festival. I went there with a new friend of mine, Lynn. It's the first time for me, that I met someone, who dresses like me and does her hair in 40s style, like I like to do. And strangly enough, we've only known each other for about 2 weeks or so. But I clicked immediatly!! She's really a very lovely girl!! And we can really talk about anything. It seems like we've been friends a much longer time. The other girl in the second picture is Manon, a friend of Lynn, also a very lovely girl. I really enjoyed myself that day and it also kept me from thinking about Pukkelpop. Maybe you can also see on our expressions, that it was waayyyy too hot that day, especially inside!

New dress

This is one of my new dresses I recently bought and I woar it yesterday. And finally my hair wanted to be poofy again, but today the poof is allready gone. Really need to figure out why my hair won't stay curly and poofy for not over 1 day. In the picture my hair did drop a bit, because I took these pictures after a whole day of work.

I really fell in love with the dress the minute I saw it. The colours combined together, the shape, the fit, every little thing about it is simply perfect.

Exhibition

A while ago, I told you that I did a photoshoot for Jacques Sonck, a photographer that has been photographing all his life. My picture was going to be in an exhibition and in a book aswell. But because I couldn't show the pictures before the exhibition opened I forgot. The exhibition is been running for a bit over a month now and is still open until 25th of september. The profile picture is the one in the exhibition but I thought I'd show you the other one too.

Just wanted to show you a new picture of my tattoo, it's been coloured in a whole lot more now. But it ain't finished yet. Can't wait for it to be completely done!

Lazy sunday

Here are some pictures of today, my lazy sunday. I watched "Pin up girl" with Betty Grable, loved it!! I baked a cake and my parents popped in for a second. See lazy sunday equals not a whole lot of make up, so don't be scared of my face appears to be gone :).

Here's me in one of my new dresses. This one is kind of late 50s - early 60s. It felt kind of weird, I normally don't wear dresses that close to the 60s but I really like this one and it fits like a glove, so I couldn't resist!!

Here are some random webcampics for you to enjoy. And I really need to buy a new camera, but it's so hard to resist buying pretty dresses instead :).Which I can't show you, because my webcam ain't clear enough. I think I have about 8 new dresses or so and also new shoes. So much I should show you but can't right now, but hopefully soon :). Here's me wearing my ever so trusty freddy dungarees. I love them!!! I need to buy myself a new pair of jeans as well.
