Paloma

I'm really in the mood for Paloma Faith the last 2 days. Really love her voice, and great songs to sing along behind my computer as well :). I also need to get new batteries again for my camera they're dead again!

Bowl-a-rama

These are some of the pictures from when I went bowling with my sisters and nieces. I really adore the bowling shoes, kind of remind me of saddle shoes. It was very long since I'd bowled, but it was super fun!! I never won, but ohh well :) I'm just not that good at the game. It's the fun that counts.

You can see my niece Katleen, making a very super bowling move with her leg swinging in the air. We always used the pink or red balls, which were a perfect weight for us girls :). Look at me, with the straight face, hoping my ball rolls in the right direction! But not to brag, allthough I'm not so good at the game, I did throw a strike one time, which made me very proud of myself!

Shoot

Here are some of the results of the pinup photoshoot! I found it really fun to do!! But it was rather cold I might add!! Sitting there on the fence with cold wind blowing over me! But I survived and tried to look pretty through the cold :). Oh yeah, I finally got to wear my Betty Page clothing dress, which has been waiting for an occasion to come out of the closet!

Then the second pictures were luckily inside !! These are my favourite ones. But it wasn't easy though to keep my legs so high, I don't work out or anything so oohh boy my legs did shiver. But thank god, you can't see something like that on a picture.

Robertina

I told you about a week ago, that I bought another new old pair of sunglasses but I hadn't had the time or effort to take a picture of me wearing them. So here they are. My Robertina, you can see on the rightside that there is writing on the glasses. It says Robertina in the most beautiful lettering! The picture of the pinupshoot and bowling are still on the list to post!! One for tonight and one for tuesday, so with a little patience you get to see them :).

Bacchus Rocks Festival

Yesterday me and my sister Evelien went to Bacchus Rocks Festival. It's not really a festival, because there only were 4 groups and a dj afterwards. The groups were really great. The first ones The Hukkelfukkers (from Belgium) were super funny and very good. And then off course they saved the best for last!!! Three bad jacks was amazing!! They even lit up there double bass and other instruments, amazing to see. I really enjoyed myself!! This was also yesterday outfit. My freddies and checkered shirt.

Meet Loulou

The prettiest gal in town!! This is my new tattoo. I call her Loulou. It still needs to heal because it's only 3 days old. So all of the detailing in the hair will become much more clear when it heels. But nevertheless, it's perfect and beautifull and I couldn't live without Loulou.

Checkers

Yesterday was really sunny!! Which was perfect because I didn't have to work. It was tattoo time!! My pinup tattoo is finally made and it's perfect! I'm super happy, that I wanted to hug the tattoo artist. But off course I didn't :). The pictures that I promised to post yesterday (pinup shoot and bowling) well, I was kind of lazy and nervous for my tattoo so I really didn't do a lot yesterday. But, fingers crossed, I hope I have time or feel like posting time on sunday! But for now, this is what I woar yesterday and how I did my hair. This dress has been hanging in my closet for almost a year now, I bought it at the very beginning of when I started my blog. But it needed to be shortened and made smaller for me. Unfortunatelly this isn't something I can do myself, yet, I hope. So it took my mom some time to want to do it. Seeing that I buy a lot of vintage things that isn't always the right size. I try to look at it, but this dress was just too beautiful. My hair, well, I'm still experimenting, I'm getting there, bit by bit with patience.

Sweet yellow

I just bought a dress at one of my favourite vintage online stores. It's the online store, where I get all my brooches from. I allready had 3 dresses from the store, but it had been a while since there was a dress I liked or in my size for that matter. But now, about 15 minutes ago, I looked again, being part of my daily routine together with reading all the blogs I follow. I stumbled apon the sweet yellow beauty!! It cost a bit more than what I usually buy online, but I just couldn't resist the perfectness!!! It even has it's own petticoat! It's the most delicate yellow ever with some kind of lace borders and a pretty little bow in the waist. So I had to have it!! Imagine this dress with my new daisy brooch I bought the other day at the same site. It's a match made in heaven !! Oh yeah, something else I have to mention. Now thursday, I'm getting tattooed again !! Finally I'm getting my beautifull pin up girl on my arm. Can't wait!! Off course I will show you the result. On thursday also, I'm probably putting up posts with pictures of my pinup photoshoot and my bowlingtrip with my sisters and my nieces. Until then, enjoy your tuesday evening!

Sunny stripes

This is what I woar to work today. My light blue striped full skirt shirt dress :). One of my favourite dresses to wear. Unfortunatelly, the dress missed it's oouummff without a brooch. But I don't wear brooches to work, because I don't want to damage them. But tomorrow is the photoshoot and brooches will appear on the pictures!! Again today the wheater was great and I got to wear my new 'old' sunglasses when I road my bike to the railwaystation. Sadly no picture of the sunglasses yet. Oh yeah, mind the sleepy eyes in the picture below :), I was kind of sleepy, allthough it was 10 AM.

These are some pictures taken last summer. Allthough it's not as warm as that day, it sure feels good riding my bike.

Sun is shining!!

Today I road my bike to the railwaystation, wearing my sunglasses and enjoying the oohh so beautiful weather!! And also, I didn't have to wear stockings, yeeey! The curls in my hair are really starting to work very well. But I still need to buy myself some setting lotion, unfortunatelly the one I want, I can't find anywhere in my neighbourhood, so I'll have to buy it online.

Yesterdays outfit

This was my outfit yesterday. My pretty red pencil skirt and my favourite belt, red with polkadots. Yesterday I bought a new "old" pair of sunglasses, what I will show you this weekend. I also bought some hairclips and a bikinibottom (the polkadot one at H&M). I only got the bottom because the top just isn't very flattering for people with any size bosom. So now I have to find a matching top, but I can't seem to find a navy blue bikinitop anywear. Or at least not something that would suit me.

This sunday I'm doing a pin up photoshoot for a friend of one of my friends. It's for a project she's doing at school and I'm more than happy to pose for the pictures. The results will certainly be shown on this blog.

It's a good day for singing a song!!

Today really was a good day!! A very busy day, seeing that it's easterholiday, and nobody has to go to school. So everybody comes shopping. But I finally got word, that my holiday was approved, I can take 20 days holiday !!! So Sweden here I come. And the sun was shining, allthough I was inside working, the ride home was very pleasant walking to the station without wearing a jacket. Riding my bike home with a light breeze, soo wonderfull!! And tomorrow I only have to work until 1 pm, so I'm going to do a little bit of shopping myself, with free money :). Well not free money exactly, I sold a couple of things again on the internet and earned about €56 and that's all going towards new and new 'old' pretty stuff! Until then, enjoy your tuesdayevening!!

When stripes are green

Wednesday night, my sister Evelien and me, went to see Alice in Wonderland. The movie wasn't bad, but it had too much Disney influence in my opinion. If Tim Burton had done it all by himself the movie would have been much better. But overall, it wasn't bad. Before we went to the movies, we went out to dinner at an Italian place. My sister ate pizza and I ate tagliatelli with spicy tomatosauce and tiger schrimps, which was abosutely delicious!! This was that night's outfit. I woar my new green striped dress, with one of my favourite vintage cardigans and my new pale blue bicycle brooch.

Easter pink

Every Easter, it's tradition that we go and celebrate at my grandmother's house. Then she makes lot's and lot's and lot's! of delicious food!! She's always scared that there isn't enough food, but believe me, there's food to feed an whole army! When I was deciding what to wear, I decided to go all pink!! I woar my favourite pink dress, my favourite pink cardigan and my new favourite pink sunglassesbrooch!! I felt like a pink lady!! Also my hair looked very pretty, still not perfect, but we're getting there. I also put a roller in my bangs. I had a bit more volume like this, which looked pretty with the curls, but the bangs aren't long enough to do something else with it. So maybe I should grow them??!! What do you think?

It seems I never manage to show an outfit in just 1 picture :) but oh well. My posture always seems so cramped when I try to take a picture of myself in the mirror, kind of funny, I guess.
